another year has passed

Its official, it is now one day after my 22nd second birthday. I still can not believe another year has passed. This was my first birthday away from my family and usual social circle and though it was different it was just as nice. My new friends and family went out of their way to make it special. Though I had work, they still found a way to make me feel like an important person in their lives. I honestly was not looking forward to this birthday because the last went so well. How can 22 compare to a birthday in Vegas?? But it did. Did the newly "grown up" thing and had drinks with a friend from college after work and came home to a lovely surprise of balloons outside of my door way from my aunt and a care-package of sugar goodies and a new purse from my mom, dad and little sisters. [Mom you know me too well ]


I again thank you all for your love and kind words, it meant a lot to me

why is it still cold??

It's mid march and it's still brutal temperatures...
I'm infinitely sick of wearing black and looking for the next best way to transition from gloomy sky's to bright sun apparel.
